THE EASTBOURNE KIT WILSON TRUST CHARITY SHOP

Shop FrontOur new shop in the Enterprise Centre next to Eastbourne Railway Station and a short walk from the bus stops in Terminus Road next to the Arndale was opened for us on 28th September 2009 by Beverley Thompson formerly a BBC South East news presenter and now one of our Patrons. Since opening the shop has been gaining momentum with Trust supporters and “charity shop” shoppers alike with an excellent range of donated goods.

The shop is open from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Saturday and offers a convivial atmosphere in which to browse with the help of our excellent team of volunteer staff.

We are always in need of more goods to offer, so that our fund raising can continue and hopefully increase. If you wish to Donate you can “drop off” your donations using the 15 minutes FREE Parking facility of the Enterprise Centre car park. Just knock on our rear door during opening hours for unloading help.

If you wish to join our volunteer team, please call in or phone the Shop on  07835301498
or contact the Animal Rescue Centre for a volunteer form and further details.

For the few of you who have not found us yet we are at the bottom of the High Street, behind Blockbuster Video) and the shop is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday.

Do come and visit the shop, there is something for everyone and the money you spend goes towards the loving care, upkeep and welfare of the animals at the centre. It's been called a "shoppers' paradise", "the old curiosity shop" and a real "treasure trove"of a place. We are sure you will find something you need - and something you don't! Our shop is growing in popularity and draws people from miles around who come to browse all the interesting shelves and corners.

Summer Holiday Window courtesy of BridgetWe have a large variety of china, glassware, pictures, useful household goods and amazing and unusual object d'art. There is also an excellent selection of books, CDs, cassettes and records to suit a whole range of tastes and interest. Our clothes, bags, shoes and hats are very good quality and tremendous bargains. Children love to visit the toy corner with its games, puzzles, teddies and books and are often seen leaving clutching that special find.

Our shop windows are colourful and inviting and reflect some of the range and exciting goods we have on offer - so do come and look around. You will be very welcome and you never know what you might find!

A big 'thank you' to all our wonderful supporters and their very generous donations without whom our shop wouldn't be the thriving concern it is today - and of course our marvellous volunteers who give heir time and talents freely to make the shop a friendly, attractive place to visit and who are dedicated to the welfare and future of the animals of the Trust.
