PRESS RELEASE NEW KIT WILSON TRUST CHARITY SHOP
As a result of our Charity Shop in Uckfield being such a great success in raising funds for the animals, thanks to the valued contribution from all of our volunteers and supporters, the Trust has been, for some time now, considering opening another shop and the time seems right to open a shop in Eastbourne.
We have just secured a shop unit in the Enterprise Centre next to Eastbourne Railway Station and are now recruiting volunteers to assist with its running and supporters to come along and bag a bargain or two!
We are hoping to officially open in September and will place announcements in the local press and on our website. If you wish to join our volunteer team, please contact the Animal Rescue Centre on 01825 830444 for a volunteer form and further details

For the few of you who have not found us yet we are at the bottom of the High Street, behind Blockbuster Video) and the shop is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday.
Do come and visit the shop, there is something for everyone and the money you spend goes towards the loving care, upkeep and welfare of the animals at the centre. It's been called a "shoppers' paradise", "the old curiosity shop" and a real "treasure trove"of a place. We are sure you will find something you need - and something you don't! Our shop is growing in popularity and draws people from miles around who come to browse all the interesting shelves and corners.
We have a large variety of china, glassware, pictures, useful household goods and amazing and unusual object d'art. There is also an excellent selection of books, CDs, cassettes and records to suit a whole range of tastes and interest. Our clothes, bags, shoes and hats are very good quality and tremendous bargains. Children love to visit the toy corner with its games, puzzles, teddies and books and are often seen leaving clutching that special find.
Our shop windows are colourful and inviting and reflect some of the range and exciting goods we have on offer - so do come and look around. You will be very welcome and you never know what you might find!
A big 'thank you' to all our wonderful supporters and their very generous donations without whom our shop wouldn't be the thriving concern it is today - and of course our marvellous volunteers who give heir time and talents freely to make the shop a friendly, attractive place to visit and who are dedicated to the welfare and future of the animals of the Trust.
