Support Groups
JOYCE COMBER of our NEWICK & CHAILEY SUPPORT GROUP held a Coffee Morning in Newick Village Hall on 10th April. There was a variety of stalls, from cakes, tombola, bric-a-brac, plants, and books to a variety of Kit Wilson Trust merchandise.
An amount of £710.64 was raised for the animals currently at the centre, which will very generously be matched by Barclays Bank ‘Matched Funding’. A representative from Barclays said “At Barclays we are committed to communities and we are delighted to support The Kit Wilson Trust for Animal Welfare. This is an example of Barclays staff working closely with the local community to achieve something which we hope will make a real and lasting difference.
