Poppies Cattery Fundraising Event

A huge thank you to the team at Poppies Cattery for raising a fantastic £304 in support of both The Kit Wilson Trust and City Cat Shelter in Brighton!

Poppies Cattery, a brand-new holiday retreat for local cats, recently opened its doors at Tudor Cottage in Whitesmith, near Golden Cross, East Sussex. Owned and run by the wonderful Melanie, the cattery marked its grand opening on 26th July with a warm and welcoming event attended by around 100 guests.

As part of the celebrations, Melanie organised a charity prize draw and offered local businesses the chance to include their cards in guest gift bags for a small donation, with all proceeds going to charity.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the event was a huge success; raising vital funds for two incredibly deserving causes.

We're so grateful to Poppies Cattery for their support and for helping make a difference to the lives of local cats in need. Congratulations to Melanie on the beautiful new cattery! We’re sure the local kitties will love their home-away-from-home.
