Sponsor an
animal
Sponsoring one of our many residents is a great way to help in providing for that animal's daily needs.

About Animal Sponsorship
If you’re looking for an unusual and worthwhile gift for family, friends, or even yourself, why not consider sponsoring one of the animals at our Rescue Centre? Animal sponsorship is more than just a donation; it’s a special way to connect with the animals and support their daily care, including food, shelter, and veterinary treatment.
By sponsoring, you help us plan ahead with a reliable, regular income that allows us to provide consistent care to a wide variety of animals; from ponies, goats, pigs, and ferrets to rabbits, guinea pigs, aviary birds, rodents, dogs, and cats.
As a thank you, sponsors receive a personalised sponsorship certificate featuring a photograph of their chosen animal, a KWT window cling, our annual ‘Tails’ magazine, and our autumn news bulletin; keeping you connected to the animals and our work throughout the year.
Whether you choose a one-off donation or a monthly sponsorship, your support makes a lasting difference and helps give our animals the care they deserve.
How to Sponsor an Animal
We don’t set a fixed amount for sponsorships, you’re free to give whatever feels right for you. Whether it’s a one-off donation or a monthly gift, every contribution plays a vital role in giving our animals the love, care, and support they deserve.
The easiest way to sponsor is through our Animal Sponsorship page. Here, you can choose from a range of meaningful categories; supporting an individual or group of animals in need, helping entire areas of our Rescue Centre like the Cattery or Kennel Block, or backing projects that require funding.
Once you've chosen a category close to your heart, you can set up your donation with just a few clicks!
Prefer to donate by cheque or standing order? No problem; you can download our sponsorship form below or just get in touch with us and we’ll provide everything you need.
Gift Aid Your Donation
If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can make your donation go even further at no extra cost by adding Gift Aid. Simply fill in the Gift Aid Declaration before making your donation and we’ll be able to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate. Frequently asked questions
Haven't found the answer you were looking for? Perhaps our FAQ's could help. If you're still needing help, please get in touch.
Your sponsorship helps provide essential, day-to-day care for the animals at our Rescue Centre in Hadlow Down. This includes:
- Food, bedding, and safe shelter
- Veterinary treatment, medications, and vaccinations
- Neutering and microchipping
- Rehabilitation and rehoming efforts
- Specialist care for older animals or those with complex needs
Whether you choose to support a single animal, the aged cats, or the entire kennel block, your contribution ensures these animals are looked after with compassion, respect, and expert care while they wait for loving new homes, or remain with us when rehoming isn’t possible.
Yes, absolutely! We offer a range of sponsorship options so you can choose a cause close to your heart. Whether it’s an individual animal you've seen on our sponsorship page, or a group like our equine herd or aged cats, or a space like the kennel block or aviary, your support directly benefits their day-to-day care and wellbeing.
You’ll see each option listed on our sponsorship page, with a description of what your support helps provide. Some sponsors choose based on a favourite animal, while others pick a specific area of the Rescue Centre that aligns with their values.
No matter which you choose, you’ll be helping to fund vital care for vulnerable animals.
The main difference lies in how often you give and how your support is structured:
- One-off sponsorship is a single donation that supports your chosen animal or area for one year. You can choose your own amount, and it's perfect if you prefer to make an annual gift or want to give sponsorship as a present.
- Monthly recurring sponsorship lets you spread your support over time, with flexible monthly gifts starting from just £5, in increments of £5. This ongoing support helps us plan better and provide steady care to the animals who need it most.
Both options are equally appreciated and every donation helps provide food, shelter, medical care, and love to the animals who need it most.
Yes, absolutely. While we would like to personally thank each of our supports, we fully respect your privacy, if you prefer not to share your personal details when making a donation.
When donating online, you may leave the name fields blank. If you are donating by post or in person, simply let us know that you’d prefer your donation to remain anonymous and we will honour that request. We do not store personal information from any payment cards used to submit a donation.
Please note that if you wish to add Gift Aid to your donation, we will need to collect some personal details to meet HMRC requirements, anonymous donations cannot be gift aided.
If you have any concerns about privacy or data protection, feel free to contact us. We’re here to help and will always handle your donation in line with your wishes and our privacy policy.
Every donation, whether anonymous or named, makes a meaningful difference to the lives of the animals in our care. Thank you for your support.
