Our herd of nineteen equines is made up of two horses and eighteen ponies, mainly Shetlands. All are aged 20 years plus and as such some have age related conditions which needs careful managing and medication such as cushing's, laminitis, heart murmurs & arthritis. They have come into our care for a variety of reasons, in some cases the companion horse or pony has passed away, via other rescues or the owner has passed away. All will live out their lives with love and the care they need at the Rescue Centre.
