What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid is a government initiative that enables charities to reclaim the basic rate tax paid on your donation, increasing the value of your gift at no extra cost to you. By choosing to Gift Aid your donation, you help us maximise every donation and allow us to do more good for animals.
How Gift Aid Works
Increased Impact
For every £1 you donate, we can claim an extra 25p from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), which means your donation goes further for our cause!
No Additional Cost
This additional support comes from HMRC and does not affect the amount you donate.
Simple Process
When you donate, simply complete the Gift Aid declaration form online, in person at one of our shops or by post.

Benefits of Gift Aid and What it Means to KWT
- Enhanced Donations:
Your gift is worth more to us when Gift Aid is applied. For example, a Gift Aided donation of £100 is worth £125 to our charity, amplifying your impact. - Supports Our Mission:
The reclaimed tax helps us invest more into our Animal Rescue Centre and our re-homing efforts, allowing us to support more animals.
